Complete these steps to start routing messages.
- Create groups for each family bucket you want to notify.
- Add member numbers to each group (E.164 format).
- Pick a default group for unknown senders.
- Add sender routes to map known numbers to groups.
- Send a test SMS to your Telnyx number to confirm routing.

First Run Checklist
- Set the Telnyx inbound webhook to
/webhooks/sms/inbound. - Create at least one group.

Groups
Groups define who receives routed messages. Use “Members” to add or remove phone numbers.
Routes
Routes map inbound sender numbers to a group. Unknown senders go to the default group.
Send
Send an outbound SMS from the shared number to a group or direct numbers.
Logs
Shows recent routing metadata (no message bodies stored).
Phone Format
Use E.164 numbers like +12025550111.
